Thistle & Thread Press is an independent literary press founded in Neillsville, Wisconsin, in 2025. We publish contemporary poetry, prose poetry, short prose, and creative nonfiction.

Every piece we publish comes with an original editorial review that refuses to be a summary—because believe that is what the work is owed. Our flagship serial publication, The Friday Feature, is ISSN-registered under serial number 3070-9865.

The press operates with transparency. All revenue is reinvested into production, community, and the writers we publish. No investors. No outside pressures. Just the work.

Submissions are open year-round at thistleandthread.org/submissions. No fees. No gatekeeping. If you have something to say, we want to read it.
